We love it. Not just reds, but whites, rosés or just bubbly. We embrace each and every one of them. Each Mal Bar and brasserie has an impressive cellar, courtesy of our world class group sommelier Johnny Walker. Johnny’s number one in Liverpool (better to have a name) brings an infectious love and playful sense of adventure to wine lovers of all levels of appreciation. No corner of the world or the cellar is untouched in their search for that stellar Soave or that cheeky Oz Chardonnay to spice up the duck. Bottoms up!
Cocktails and Champagne at Plum Bar
There can be no finer way to kick off – or end - an evening than with a spot of mixology. So why not sample the Mal’s dangerously good cocktails? How about a Manhattan for him (You already know we do Manhattan very well) or a French 75 for her? Or maybe a glass of the bubbly stuff upstairs in our Veuve Champagne bar? Anytime is a fine time for Champagne. A coupe of glasses later and you’re well and truly flying.
